Artificial Intelligence Wrote This Post!

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) copywriting for marketing is a hot topic among digital marketers, but there are a few pros and cons to consider before jumping on board. On one hand, AI copywriting has the potential to save marketers time, increase accuracy, and create more engaging content. On the other hand, it can be cost prohibitive and its capabilities are still limited in certain areas.

One of the major benefits of AI copywriting for marketing is that it can save marketers time. AI copywriting tools can help marketers quickly generate copy for a wide variety of projects, from website copy to emails. AI copywriting tools are designed to be easy to use, and marketers can customize the copy to fit their needs.

AI copywriting can also help marketers create more accurate copy. AI copywriting tools use natural language processing (NLP) to understand the context of a given task and generate copy that is both accurate and consistent. This can help marketers ensure that they are sending out copy that is free of errors and grammatical mistakes.

Finally, AI copywriting can help marketers create more engaging content. AI copywriting tools can analyze the tone and style of existing content and generate copy that is tailored to target audiences. This can help marketers create more personalized, engaging content that resonates with their target audience.

However, there are also some drawbacks to AI copywriting for marketing. One of the major drawbacks is cost. AI copywriting tools are often expensive, and some of the more advanced tools can be cost prohibitive for small businesses. Additionally, AI copy writing tools are still limited in certain areas. For example, AI copywriting tools are still unable to create copy that is tailored to the nuances of a given industry or subject matter.

Overall, AI copywriting for marketing can be a valuable tool for digital marketers, but it is important to consider the pros and cons before investing in an AI copy writing tool. AI copywriting can save marketers time, increase accuracy, and create more engaging content, but it can also be cost prohibitive and limited in certain areas. By understanding the potential benefits and drawbacks of AI copywriting, marketers can make an informed decision about whether or not it is the right choice for their business.

Okay, this is me writing. Jason Davis, a real living, breathing human. Most people would find it hard to read the above and not be impressed. Especially when you find out it took me 30 seconds to generate that content! It is another clear example of how transformational AI technology is becoming. If you are looking to be a leader in your industry or field and you aren’t looking at how AI will change the landscape you will be left behind. This is very true in the world of marketing. AI is already changing the game. That being said, before you go all in on AI copywriting you need to consider not only the downsides outlined above but I would add two more to consider.

  1. We still aren’t sure how Google will react to more and more content being generated by AI online. How will AI copywriting impact the user experience and how will Google choose to factor that into its SEO algorithm? We don’t know that yet.
  2. From our experience AI copywriting does not replace innovative or novel insights from thought leaders. It can do a good job of day to day writing but there is still a human element needed if you are looking to establish yourself as a thought leader in a particular field.

In short, AI is something that marketers and entrepreneurs should be watching carefully to find ways to integrate it into their businesses but they should also remain aware of its shortcomings.
